IQOS ILUMA Device

IQOS ILUMA is the original range of IQOS devices built for TEREA sticks. It includes three models: the all-in-one ILUMA One, the ILUMA Standard with its holder and pocket charger, and the premium ILUMA Prime. We stock 16 ILUMA devices across these three models, and every one of them works with any TEREA stick.

What Is IQOS ILUMA?

IQOS ILUMA is a range of heated tobacco devices from IQOS that uses the SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM. Instead of heating tobacco with a blade, an ILUMA device heats a metal element sealed inside each TEREA stick, warming the tobacco from within. With no blade in the device, there is nothing to clean.

ILUMA was followed by the newer IQOS ILUMA i range, which adds features such as FlexPuff and, on some models, a touch screen and Pause Mode. The original ILUMA devices remain a simple, reliable option and use exactly the same sticks.

The IQOS ILUMA Range

The three ILUMA models share the same heating system and all use TEREA. They differ in design and how you carry and charge them.

IQOS ILUMA One

The ILUMA One combines the heating unit and battery in a single pocket-sized body, with no separate charger. A full charge gives up to 20 consecutive uses, which makes it the easiest ILUMA to carry. Available in Azure Blue, Moss Green, Pebble Beige, Pebble Grey and Sunset Red.

IQOS ILUMA Standard

The ILUMA Standard, often called simply IQOS ILUMA, uses a slim holder that you recharge in a pocket charger. The holder is good for two uses at a time, and the pocket charger holds enough power for about 20. Available in Azure Blue, Moss Green, Pebble Beige, Pebble Grey, Sunset Red and a Neon Limited Edition.

IQOS ILUMA Prime

The ILUMA Prime is the flagship of the range. It works like the Standard but has an anodised aluminium pocket charger with a textile cover, and it can be personalised with charger wraps and holder rings. Available in Bronze Taupe, Gold Khaki, Jade Green, Obsidian Black and a Neon Limited Edition.

How to Choose an IQOS ILUMA Device

If you want one device that goes everywhere with you, choose the ILUMA One. There is no charger to carry and you get up to 20 uses in a row.

If you’re used to the classic IQOS setup of a holder and pocket charger, the ILUMA Standard is the straightforward choice.

If design matters to you and you like the idea of changing your device’s look, go for the ILUMA Prime.

IQOS ILUMA vs IQOS ILUMA i

Each ILUMA model has a matching model in the newer ILUMA i range. Both generations use TEREA sticks, so you can switch between them without changing sticks.

Model by model, the upgrades are the ILUMA i One, ILUMA i Standard and ILUMA i Prime. If you’d like adjustable temperature and session time, you can also look at our LAMBDA devices, which are made for TEREA by an independent brand.

Which Sticks Work with IQOS ILUMA?

Every IQOS ILUMA device works only with SMARTCORE sticks such as TEREA. All the TEREA versions we sell are compatible, whichever market they were made for:

• TEREA Japan
• TEREA Indonesia
• TEREA UAE version
• TEREA Kazakhstan
• TEREA Armenia

Browse all TEREA sticks or shop by TEREA flavour.

ILUMA devices don’t work with HEETS, which are made for older IQOS devices that heat with a blade. Don’t use TEREA sticks in those older devices either, as this can damage them.
